In 2013 I was cast in Story Pirates, a nationally respected children’s media company that takes stories written by kids, and adapts them into live shows and podcasts. I visited classrooms around New York City, leading creative writing workshops with students and adapting their stories into comedy shows, and performing them for thousands of kids and their families.

With the Story Pirates, I performed at Wilco’s Solid Sound Music Festival, the Luciele Ball Comedy Festival, and directed our first national book tour at The Gatheing Place in Tulsa, OK, and the Orpheum Theater in Memphis, TN.
